Ron’s son Scott started working when he was just a teenager repairing and building window screens. Over the next couple of decades Ron continued to teach Scott the skillful trade of a glazier and how to run a small business. Scott took over in 1989 and is still repairing screens and glazing glass along with a million other things. You can often find Scott running all over the shop doing a little bit of everything and helping customers that bring in random old window parts. He also loves to keep the history of Handy Glass alive with his storytelling of the past and often quotes his Dad Ron when jokingly motivating the Handy Glass team.

Handy Glass Inc. has been a fixture in Loveland since 1960, when Lew Parsons and his son Ron opened their doors to serve the glass needs of their community. From the very beginning, Handy Glass was built on the belief that quality work and honest service are the only foundations worth building a business on. You can still find us in our iconic royal blue quonset hut building on the corner of 1st Street and Lincoln in downtown Loveland, a landmark as recognizable as the reputation we have spent over six decades building.
